Since the language files don't change much in the stable branches, now seems like a good time to get them up to date for 1.4.
I'd suggest the process below, but I haven't done much with the language files, so if you have a better process, please post. There is some old information at
http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/LanguagesNote there are length limits on some of the strings, described in the English file.
The content of some existing strings has been changed. I've attached a diff of the changes in the English file since the 1.4 release. This may help identifying what needs updating (lines starting with a + identify IDs that might need adding or updating), but I suspect many of the lang files were out of date in 1.3.
If you plan to update a file, I'd suggest posting here to avoid duplicate effort. I believe the German file is pretty up to date.
