Hi I just bought a Canon powershoit ELPH170 and I need to download CHDK to allow me to shoot in EAW. Can anyone help?
Ooops, I think you posted this on the wrong forum section, but a moderator or admin will move it to the right place. Thing is I don't think that camera is supported unless you help the developers with some things they will need to see what can be done.
Check this section "Supported Cameras" in
http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/CHDK I don't see ELPH170 in the list ...
EDIT: I do see other ELPH's so they might help you but you'll probably be asked for firmware dumps and other things to be able to run it...
Another thing is buying a refurbished model that is supported... refurbished are really cheap and good deals!
