Thanks for posting the video, that helps.


Can you check the Canon settings in the SHOOT3 menu for the 'AF Method' setting.
If it is set to 'Face + Tracking' try changing it to '1-point AF'


That's the only setting I have found that causes this type of flickering on my camera.

I have added 101a and 101b versions to the auto-build server since these seem to be working.


I have also checked in changes to reduce the flickering when using Face+Tracking AF.


The CHDK UI should now work when using the EVF (although edge detection is currently not working in the EVF).

Yes, there is still some kind of "rebound" in the menu like  we see in the video when 'AF Method' is set to 'Face + Tracking'.

As for the rest, as far as i have seen, every thing work well

Nope, follow the card preparation instructions linked from https://chdk.fandom.com/wiki/Canon_Basic/Scripts/Dumper and then run the script.

I guess we could in theory make a small card image for people to write with etcher or dd. The sticking point for CHDK is expanding use the whole card size, but for dumping it would just need to be bigger than a plausible dump.
