I have used 'Motion Detection Plus' with Canon PowerShot G9 in P-mode (manual focus). The ‘number of shots’ were set to 1 during a motion detection event, although as no start delay was selected it continuously shot photos as long as there were movement. I wonder which variables influence the photo "burst" speed? I understand that shutter speed and aperture is important, but does the 'Motion Detection Plus' script also need some time for measure or comparing "frames" before shooting? For my setup it takes approximately 1 picture every 1-2 second during continuous movement.
