Hey. I'm completely new to this forums.
So I got the camera yesterday (greeat gift) and already trying to find a CHDK port to it.
Sadly haven't found no one yet.
So I post here my firmdump for any skilled developer to work on it!
I hope someone will do any improvement.

is not entirely accurate...

sx520 100c and sx530 100c have the same firmware from CHDK perspective (they do have different build timestamp though).

From their specs:
sx530
- 50x zoom lens, 24...1200 mm eqv. focal length
- Wifi
- movie format: MP4 (h.264 + AAC-LC)

sx520
- 42x zoom lens, 24...1008 mm eqv. focal length
- no Wifi
- movie format: MOV (h.264 + linear PCM)

Unfortunately, the sx530 100c port is only half-done with no active developer.

Waterwingz, I've seen the two help pages you told me, but none of them was useful to me, as a amateur programmer.
So that's why I created this thread, for the people who can actually work on a solution.

FWIW, there are only a couple of people currently active who can create a CHDK port. And they are not exactly looking for additional projects.  Very few people have come forward to attempt their first port recently.  So you may not see a lot of activity here.

And be aware that your camera is a DIGIC4+.  These cameras are somewhat harder to port.

As I mentioned above, the current sx530 port can be used to make a port for this camera, with very little changes. However, that port is missing some important adjustments to make it usable. Someone with the camera is needed to do the necessary investigation & tests.
Quite a number of people requested an sx520 port so far, but no-one willing to work on it has shown up.
Try building CHDK for the sx530. If you succeed and have some C programming knowledge, consider working on the port - you can get help here in the forum.
