Star time lapse with my $60 A495

This is my first shot at star time lapse, using forum user reyalp's fixedint.lua script located here: http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Lua/Scripts:_Fixed_Exposure_Intervalometer

Pretty pleased with the results, even with the excessive amp glow from the A490. This video was made with an hour & 10 minutes of 32 second exposures playing .1 seconds apart, I just used windows MM for this one.

Next step is to get a little better / newer CHDK compatible camera, prefereably with a little wider FOV & try some more.

Nice video. Before buying a better camera,  a couple of hours creating a work flow to remove that amp glow in post processing might be a better return on investment?

Thanks - yes I want to do some experimenting with dark frames & more post processing to improve the images when I get more time.

I would like to get a CHDK capable camera with a wider FOV than the A490/A495 (I have both) offers though. I have a Sony NEX-5N as well with a remote time-lapse / astrophotography trigger I can use too, but the Canon's are fun to tweak and experiment with.
