Yeah, who knows. I was thinking it had something to do with me using a Mac. But the fact that the STICK app got it ready and it now boots has me baffled. The PS.FIR file is in the top directory, I even tried renaming it to PS.FI2 which I read somewhere. Who knows, this tends to be my luck. The simplest things just don't work for me lol.

The Wiki has been extremely useful, and I thank you for your efforts in keeping it complete.

In case anyone ends up here googling for info,  PS.FIR is the CHDK "firmware update" file for really old VxWorks cameras.  PS.FI2 is the same thing for newer DryOS models.  They are not interchangeable - your camera will use one or the other.
