Is there a way to achieve constant exposure also at f/2?

To make sure you didn't make a mistake, you could try avtest.lua
You have to set ‘const_exp=true’.

You could post the logfile avtest.csv from the script here.

From my own experience, I can say that there is a large variance in brightness, especially in artificial light. You should also try the experiment in daylight.

 Form me it looks ok. On the Varianz of the meter96 curve you can see, that the real aperture changes in steps of 12.

You have to take into account that the EFM 22mm with an open aperture has a large vignetting of 2EV in the corners. Here you have to pay attention to whether the lens corrections are taken into account or not.

Update:
@aloniv
Why you start wit av96 204 and not with 192?

No idea why it started from that value. Is there any way to force it to start from 192?

What happens if you shoot the series in opposite order (starting with aperture overridden to smallest first)? That could show whether it's the first shot that is affected or the issue is with something else.

I set the minimal value to 192 - for some reason it took 3 shots at that aperture. I stopped the script at f/6.3. f/2 is still differently exposed compared with the others. Here's the log.

This ist the first parameter
I for some reason it took 3 shots at that aperture.
shots_base=3 "Baseline shots"
f/2 is still differently exposed compared with the others.
The whole scene is underexposed. This is a bad example.
The script say
Code: [Select]
WARN: BAD SCENE histo underexp

I would do the avtest on an even surface, e.g. on a white wall. Then you can see the vignetting well.

f/2 is still differently exposed compared with the others.
Do you get these results even without CHDK?

It doesn't seem to be just a CHDK issue. Anyway it seems it can be partially mitigated by using faster shutter speeds (and higher ISO speeds).

I don't think that's a CHDK Problem. This two videos were made with M3 and  EF 50mm F1.8 / EF 100mm USM Macro  and avtest.lua
I had no problems with open apartures.
