Same specs here,  ;) ... 1/4000-30 sec, but there are differences in // platform/../shooting.c

Thanks to @c_joerg @philmoz @srsa_4c @reyalp

Just reporting that I received my M10 today (111a) and have successfully got CHDK up and running from the XIMR build set.

I can confirm all looks OK and my bracketing script runs on the M3 and M10, ie all the peeks (focus position and lens name) are OK on both Cams.

The CHDK histogram seems OK and Zebras seem to work with under/over thresholds set to 2.

Cheers

I moved most of the M100 discussion to the M100 thread: https://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=13943.msg148547#msg148547

Sorry if this has been covered before, how do I find out which 1.10 firmware is on my camera? I see from the build page there is a version D, F, and G; is it ok to flash any letter 1.10?

You can one of the tools mentioned on https://chdk.fandom.com/wiki/FAQ#Q._How_can_I_get_the_original_firmware_version_number_of_my_camera? or a Canon basic script https://chdk.fandom.com/wiki/Canon_Basic/Scripts/Firmware_Info or from the EXIF of a jpeg. Note the EXIF tag you want is the canon makernote value exiftool calls "Firmware Revision" which will have a value like "1.00 rev 1.00" for 100a, and is not displayed by some software.

The ver.req / vers.req method mentioned in the FAQ reportedly does not work on M10.

You should only install the version exactly matching your cameras firmware.

Greetings, just wanted to let everyone know that v1.7.0 has supposedly fixed the overlay flickering which plagued previous versions compatible with EOS M10. It's probably worth an update :)

I'm currently testing m10-111a-1.7.0-6231 and there's no flickering, great success!
