Hi,

Though I liked the older Outline theme, it was due to be replaced for some time now. I find that this current solution, though likely not unanimously, will improve the forum readability.

I'm planning to improve it a bit over time, when/if I have the time. One of the issues I have with it is that it may be too wide on larger screens, that could be fixed using a max-width setting for the containers.

If you should want to set the theme to the previous version, you can change it on the Layout options of your Profile area. If you do change, please write a comment below and vote in the poll (you can change the vote if you change your mind).

I have also installed a mobile specific theme that doesn't look all that nice, but it presents with good functionality. Nonetheless,  Tapatalk continues to be the recommended solution for mobile devices. I'm expecting more browsing issues with this one, but it does have a "desktop" shortcut...

Readability is good. 

The only thing I don't like is the new banner color.  On my screens it's an orangish pink sort of color.   I guess I just got used to the dark red in the old theme.

Not a big deal - just happy the forum is available !  Thank you for that.

How do I activate the "mobile specific" theme on my mobile phone browser?  I have tapatalk and that hasn't changed (of course) but I'm not sure that I see the mobile version in the web browser?  Maybe that means I do?

It should be working now - just open it on your mobile browser.

Just tried the browser on my mobile phone again. Wow! Very nice.   

Might even let me give up on tapatalk as it's very hard on battery life if it's open in the background.

I find the new theme a bit disorienting right now but I'm sure I will get used to it.

Is there a way to see posts from old to new like in the old theme? I can see the advantage of having the most recent first, but when reading through an old thread chronological order seems better.

You lost me there - in forum view you can order the columns by clicking the header, but I guess that's not what you're looking for...
