For 1.00B on IXUS 175(REE) I get a firmware dump with SHA sum 192ef710c184fa3214c9d26cecb6936bb0b1cd8f

CBDUMPER.LOG contains "FF810000 dry".

Uploaded the file to http://wikisend.com/download/443140/PRIMARY.BIN

When I did a quick comparison in a hex editor with the dump above for 1.00A I noticed that 1.00A dump have a lot of FFFFFFFF values where the file dump I got from my camera have non-zero and non-one values for bytes at offset 0 to offset 10844. Is this expected?

Hi,

The dump for 1.00A started at 0xFF800000 and area from 0xFF800000 to 0xFF810000 is camera's log. Log for the dump is clean anf filled 0xFFFFFFFF.

Not a big deal though, I don't think anybody will care. (No, I don't know where exactly it is located in the dump)

Thanks for the dumps for both of you. FWIW, 100a and 100b won't need separate ports, they are almost completely identical.

@alvm
If possible, please use the official dumper script - the CHDK tools expect dumps starting at 0xff810000 for cams with 8MB ROM.

Since the 100b fw is identical to the 100a version in terms of CHDK coding there's no need to add this fw to the repository...
