As long as you don't want a really high frame rate it's quite possible.  You can stream an image of the LCD buffer at rates around 5 fps (IIRC) or full resolution images from the camera sensor shooting at a somewhat slower rate ( 2 secs per frame for example).

Not sure why you would want to wear out a nice S95 that way.  But here's the place to start : chdkptp

Thanks for the response. Honestly this thing just collects dust and wanted to get some use out of it, 5fps wont be sufficient though.

You should be able to get quite a bit more than 5 FPS unless you are using a really underpowered PC. I get 10-20 with d10 depending on settings.

Note chdkptp lets you see the camera live view, but it does not provide a driver that lets you use the camera as a webcam in other applications like skype, google hangouts etc. There may be ways to do this using streaming apps or virtual webcam drivers, but it will be a lot more complicated.
