I stumbled onto CHDK only yesterday and was a bit disappointed to see on the Wiki that for the Ixus 850 IS / SD800 only firmware version 1.00e is supported. I gave it a try with 1.00d nevertheless and everything seems to work fine, including scripts even when written by myself.
Being an outsider to this community I am unsure where and how to put this information onto the wiki. Any suggestions?
In any case, this piece of software is fantastic and turns a drowsy pocket camera into a fantastically sophisticated toy. Thanks.
