Another request for CHDK on the SX60HS

Hiya  8)

After my SX50 got stolen last year I "upgraded" to the SX60 in January this year. To my utter shock I then realized that CHDK is not available for the SX60 as yet...

Now, 6 months later I am again wondering if the SX60 will be enjoying some attention soon?

I REALLY REALLY miss the additional features the CHDK provided me - it's almost making me regret getting the SX60 instead of another SX50....

Anyone working on this? Are there any alternatives to CHDK out there somewhere for the SX60?

Thanks in advance - hoping for some GOOD news here....  :o

Thanks, though I have seen those threads and did many google searches on the subject to ensure I have not missed anything...

Does this mean that currently nobody's working on this at all?

Yes. Digic 6 uses a new CPU architecture. srsa has done a lot of work to support D6 in the sx280 port, but it currently isn't in the mainline CHDK, and D6 ports are a LOT more work than other cameras.

Doing a port "blind" without actually having the camera is completely impractical with D6 (it's very difficult and frustrating even with the "easy" older cameras),  so in the foreseeable future D6 ports will only happen when a skilled developer actually has the camera.
