Hi
I have a Canon 400d and at the moment only have a 16gb CF Card, I know I cant use card tricks to create the hack so tried eoscard and HxD. I use the testfir file first which completes with success but nothing happens when I do the auto exec part (No blue light). I am using windows 10 and wondered if that was the problem. I have followed all instructions to the latter, is it not working down to windows 10 or the size of the card ?.

400plus (as the hack is called) has a big thread in this forum. It also has an official page, here: https://github.com/400plus/400plus
If you don't find answers in their wiki, I'd suggest posting in the 400d thread.

Looked on other forum and nothing there that helps. When using Windows 10 should I be doing something else?. Would buying a 4 gb CF card solve my problem.

Hi,

   I initially had problems getting my CF adaptor with an 8GB SD card to boot but found using EOSCard that by just pressing the "Save" button then selecting the latest build and allowing it to be downloaded and installed onto the card, deleting all the files from it after it had finished and copying the 400PLUS BIN file to the root of the card my camera booted into 400PLUS and everything worked fine.
