Hi,
My bad - it should be ok now. If not just refresh the page to reload the cache.

Cheers
Looks good now. Thanks.

Same problem on Firefox 45.0, even after clearing the cache, CHDK forum cookies, and even after using "Forget about this website". Classic theme.

It works on a fresh install of Google Chrome though.

Hi,

Yes, this issue is not solved. Frankly it has been a bad case of not having the opportunity to try and fix it vs remembering to do it.

Let me see if I can get to it in the meantime.

Sorry about that :/

Cheers

Hi,
Regarding this thread's original issue and the updated PHP engine version, I've tested both Quick Post Preview and Post Preview on Firefox and Chrome (macOS) and both were now working.

Fetching preview...

The preview problem is back since the last maintenance. Before it had worked briefly (recent firefox under windows).

Yesterday, I could preview, but continuously got

"Your session timed out while posting. Please try to re-submit your message. "

when trying to actually post. I previously encountered that error a occasionally, but was always able to post after retrying.

(will I be able to post now? Let's find out!  :haha)

You can ;-)

That was an issue that came up by using PHP 7. It is actually still there, but I've implemented an alternative fix while there isn't a proper one available. It should be fine for regular use.

FWIW, another issue I encountered last night was when trying to log out, I'd get the message

"Session verification failed. Please try logging out and back in again, and then try again."
 :haha
