I'm not sure. Assembla has changed the conditions over the years. Join or sign in to an existing project should be free.

Update version 1.4.011

Thank you for this portable version, but it's not workable for me.
After starting config.cmd I has config.ini and Link for Notepad ++
When I open Notepad ++ and write in console
hostlua environment 4.1.011 initialized
================ READY ================
CHDK LUA local
; starting child process: "CHDK LUA local"
CreateProcess() failed with error code 2:
The system cannot find the file specified.

================ READY ================
CHDK LUA local C:\hostluaPortable\motionusb2.lua
; starting child process: "CHDK LUA local C:\hostluaPortable\motionusb2.lua"
CreateProcess() failed with error code 2:
The system cannot find the file specified.

================ READY ================
CHDK LUA local "C:\hostluaPortable\motionusb2.lua"
; starting child process: "CHDK LUA local "C:\hostluaPortable\motionusb2.lua""
CreateProcess() failed with error code 2:
The system cannot find the file specified.

================ READY ================

system environments variable PATH was filled according my location of C:\hostluaPortable

---
Do I miss anything else?

Can you post a little more about the used operating system. Have you tried to install/start with admin rights? What is with the example scripts in ...hostluaPortable/scripts?

Just attempted to download/use this and my system removed 'unsafe' files.
Any advice regarding this environment?
Also if I do run I get a message is config.vbs missing.

When 'unsafe' files was removed you will miss the necessary vbs file.  ;)

This package is absolutely safe! Windows has a problem with files that communicate with each other. But this is necessary to make the setup as easy as possible.

@msi
Many thanks for the reassurance. Still having issues that I'm trying to sort out.
Get error message can't find config.vbs.

Per your earlier post, Windows "removed" config.vbs for being "unsafe".   It's not.

You need to find a way to make sure config.vbs (and every other file in the distribution gets installed). What are you using to unzip the package?

I have a little Problem with running this. Because I have npp installed on my Computer in general, everytime I start npp over the Link in the HostLua Portable Folder, this npp pics up the Configuration of my installed Version, so nppExec isnt configured.. I can't find a description anywhere, how to set up this by Hand.. Can anyone help me with that?
