I have IXUS 127 HS camera, but the nearest camera supported I find are IXUS125 and IXUS130 models.

I'd like to upgrade my camera with CHDK. I've read on forum, a bloke with the same model as I have has been doing aerial photography successfully with CHDK scripts.

Where can I find software version to download?

The Ixus 127 is a variant (different color) of the Ixus 125, they use the same firmware. For installation, you can use STICK.

I can guarantee that STICK will install CHDK on your Ixus 127 - I'm the author of STICK and I have two Ixus 127 cameras (well actually one belongs to my wife).

Thank you, STICK looks like a perfect utility, just what I was looking for. I'll try STICK as soon as I have borrowed a card reader from my brother (can't wait for his return from Germany).
Can't wait to try out my Cannon on some time lapse photography I had in mind.
I made a time lapse movie before like this one

But it was made with an old Sony camera, when perhaps a better choice would be this Cannon IXUS127. Great model anyway, day or night.
