how do i get 'shop cs6 to recognize chdk sx120is raw format?

chdk rocks but shop won't open the raws.

Are you saving as RAW or DNG? AFAIK it should recognize the DNG images.

yeah the files are crw format from chdk 1.5.0 ver 4665 running on sx120is.
adobe dng converter 8.1.0.43 won't recognize them either.

Only a few programs can recognize a CHDK RAW file - and only for some cameras.

It's much better to store the RAW images in DNG format on your camera.

Go into the CHDK RAW menu and scroll down half way to where it says DNG format.  Enable that and select 'DNG' file extension.

yeah 'shop opens chdk's dng format - awesome going forward.
i appreciate that.

looks like i'm beat for the pre-existing crw shots though.

nope - http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/DNG4PS-2 doesn't see crw format.
as for sourceforge, yeah maybe.
i know i still got a gnu compiler laying around - somewhere ...
stay tuned.

Not sure you need to recompile anything?  This thread suggests it's just an issue of tricking the config file correctly.
