..The short answer is no, it will ... never be supported, by CHDK.
The Canon Pro1 uses a Dig!c 1 processor which is ROMDOS based.
ROMDOS is a compatible commercial version of M$DOS.
If you still have a Windows 98 Computer you can boot with ROMDOS or M$DOS. (
)
And use then run Windows 98 on top of a DEMO version of ROMDOS to make a serial connection
to your Canon Pro1 using your vintage Canon Canon Pro1 software, to then remotely
control your Canon Pro1.
Meanwhile back in the year of 2016, there is still strings that reference some
of these legacy serial cameras.
Any ideas on why Canon continues to reference a few legacy serial cameras. ??
I have also noticed references to these legacy serial cameras in some canon
software, a few years ago.
Just guessing, is this a way to communicate, to more modern cameras, via a serial console connection.
May be its a clever way to reset a modern bricked USB camera. ??

There was also a usefull program called SH??
