Can I use an UHS-I card with a SDHC host device?
Yes! All SD UHS-I cards can be used with all existing SDXC and SDHC devices (backwards compatible). Note that SDXC UHS-I cards are not compatible with SD or SDHC host devices, only with SDXC host devices. See the SDXC FAQ for more information. Although SD UHS-I cards can be used with all existing SDXC and SDHC devices, if you want to optimize UHS performance, select a device with the UHS-I logo...

so that means i can use it?
Sure. You just won't be able to use the extra speed the card may offer (people with DIGIC 4 DSLRs report ~20MB/s maximum speed).

Thanks. 20 MB is exactly what I need!

My SD override is not working. I've started a new topic for that.
You can contribute to it, here's the link.

I have made several improvements to this port in changesets 3308 and 3310
Main changes:
- DNG active area now includes all usable pixels, including the dark border which is only visible on wide angle images.
- new palette
- improvements to movie mode detection and AF scan
- RAW/DNG numbering should be more reliable
- the trunk version is no longer using EXMEM, quality of JPEG stills will no longer be degraded, superfine option is available

Out of curiosity, what makes you think this port is "dead"? I'm using it on my camera and don't remember having any major issues with it.

@Caefix from your report in https://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=14294.msg145637#msg145637

Ix115 (101a). The dimensions might be fine, fisheye is full screen distortion, but while any mode video recording good rec frames are broken by last frame before recording (Not last play review.)
~1 sec <live>... 1/2 sec <mem> ...
It sounds like the active viewport buffer is incorrect when video is recording. I see one problem, but I need to know how many buffers it uses while recording. Please use attached build and post screenshots while recording and not recording.

The main thing to look for is the repeating numbers showing the number of frame buffers (01230123 or whatever). If they are the same in all video modes, you don't need to do a screenshot of each.

According to the manual, this camera also has high FPS (super slow mo) video mode. I don't know if this will work with live view, but you can try.
Don't forget what the H stands for.

We have a stable 0123 worm while not recording and a rotating 012 else in all videomodes.  :haha
In 320 mode, the screen is vertically splitted, livewiew stretched in the left half:

Thanks. I updated the active viewport buffer to use 3 in video and 4 otherwise in trunk 5382.

The size issues will need more changes to fix, the port currently doesn't use GetVRAMHPixelsSize / GetVRAMVPixelsSize at all
