md_tune seems fine, too.
For md_tune, we want to know how fast it reacts.
The camera should point at something that doesn't change, like a wall, in low light so the AF lamp is easily detected. It should be quite close, maybe half a meter or less "N cells, trigger N". Each time the AF lamp flashes, it should it should react by adding a line to the console like and updating the info at the top of the screen.
If it misses an AF flash (sits there with the LED on) or triggers from some motion other than the AF lamp, then the results are invalid and you have to start over. If the AF LED appears to stuck on after interrupting the script, a half press outside of alt mode should clear it.
Let it trigger around 10 times, and report the min, max and average.
