it'd be awesome if the Powershot Elph 180 ixus 175 supported chdk as i see some of the older powershots allow for use of this

Somebody with the time, skills, and access to the camera needs to volunteer a create the CHDK port.  The ELPH180 is a relatively new camera, so there has probably not been enough time for all three requirements to come together.

FWIW, there's this: ixus175_elph180_100c porting attempt.
Let's hope it's not abandoned.
