So what I need to select to make this thing work, I know it is dumb question, but I read that this things are dangerous and won't to damage my camera.
"Recording mode" means in picture tacking mode, as opposed to playback / review mode where you view the pictures on the camera.
Don't forget what the H stands for.

No it not write recording mode, it write ''place the camera into video recording mode''.

But I don't know how to put in video recording mode, since I only have one button that will automaticaly start to record a video file when it is pressed, I can't put it in video mode, this is not clear to me how to do it.  :-[

Thanks, I understand now.

There is a note about this on the wiki page, referring to the a2500.  http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Manual_Exposure_Control_for_Video_Recording

It should apply to any camera without a dedicated video record mode.

This is so confusing that I'm more and more distraught...

I try something I can't get this ''"Camera not in video mode"''.

So in what mode I need to put my camera that this works, manual or some other ??

The link that reyalp quoted says :

There is no video recording mode on the A2500, only a red button to start/stop video recording. But you can use still the script as follows :
  • press shutter in ALT mode to start the script running
  • an error message will says "Camera not in video mode" - ignore it
  • use the arrow keys to show/modify Tv, Av and Sv parameters
  • press the FUNC/SET button to start & stop video recording
  • press the shutter or MENU button to stop the script
  • repeat these steps as desired

From that I assume you can just leave your camera in AUTO or P mode and run the script.

Yes, but in auto mode when I press shutter, I don't get that "Camera not in video mode", I get this pic in attachment. So something is not ok here...

You need to go to the CHDK Miscellaneous Stuff menu, scroll down to where it says Enable Lua Native Calls [  ] and press Func/Set to enable them.

It is working but camera is in some kind of buggy mode. First of all when I try to use zoom, it freezes constantly, not allow me to make zoom smoothly, when I press zoom it move it very little and freezes and continuously so...

I use sd card class 4, I think that it must be using 10 for this kind of high quality videos...

Don't know but this seems quite unstable and dangerous for camera, among that CHDK runs fine without problems so far.
