I just begin to play with CHDK DNG’s from G1x.
If I do
Code: [Select]
dcraw -4 -D -T IMG_0004 IMG_0004.CR2I got an tif image with size 4404*3316 (Canon CR2)
With
Code: [Select]
dcraw -4 -D -T IMG_0004 CRW_0004.DNG
I got an tif image with size 4404*3312 (CHDK DNG)

Why the size is different?
M100 100a, M3 121a, G9x II (1.00c), 2*G1x (101a,100e), S110 (103a), SX50 (100c), SX230 (101a), S45,

Why the size is different?
Because that's how the person who did the port defined it. These cameras typically have a border of pixels that contain some data but don't have quite the same levels as the rest of the sensor, so the active area definition is subjective.

If you want the full sensor, you can set "DNG Crop Size" to "Full".
Don't forget what the H stands for.
