file attach error?

Trying to make a forum post with a single attachment that is 1.7MB  I have posted other attachments ok in the past.  Firefox on ubuntu 17.

Tried twice, with browser shutdown in between, no difference.  It appears that nothing happens in browser.  I did wait a while, as if the attachment upload will take some time.

Following the wait, I refresh, and page then says I tried to double post or clicked twice, which is not totally un-expected, I guess.  I checked the forum, post is not there.  Is 1.7MB still too big?

Sorry for the trouble.

The current file size limit is 2000 Kb, which should allow that file size.

Two files uploaded for testing

I'm seeing two fatal errors in the error log, it might have been an isolated performance issue. Do re-check again, please.

Hi, thanks for checking.  Unfortunately, 2 tries, 2 fails.

Firefox on Ubuntu - url that just hangs - no spinning activity icon, just nothing happens

Then tried Chromium on Ubuntu - http 500 error.  try to attach that to this post, as png

Sorry for trouble!

Tried with 1.3MB attachment, it worked.  My issue is resolved, thanks for having a look.

Thanks for the heads up. I did change something but wasn't expecting to be of much help.
Cheers
