Koshy had a little ELPH which wasn't white as snow but everywhere that Koshy went the ELPH was sure to go. (actually an SD, but that detail ruins the rhyme...)

I'm not clear what this means, or what the image is supposed to show? The first ndtest.csv you posted for this camera seems fine. The second one (BETA2) shows some variation, it looks like variation in lighting to me.

[=) First .csv done with (wrong) iso to auto setting, 2nd. with an accident during test.
Hope, 3rd is OK now. .Jpg shows it´s another cam with distortion after set_zoom.

Thanks. The first one was actually fine, I suggested fixed ISO to limit possible sources of confusion, but auto should nomrally work.

On the zoom issue, it looks like this port isn't using  CAM_USE_ALT_SET_ZOOM_POINT / CAM_USE_ALT_PT_MoveOpticalZoomAt. I'll post a test build with that later in the porting thread https://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=10150.50 unless it's been tried already.

In general, if you find port specific bugs it's better to post them in the porting thread with a description of the issue. You can usually find the porting thread linked from the camera wiki page.

Around reply #207 You did some memory improvement.
I remember Ixus230 had ~400k free mem, now it´s 500+.
Other cams around 400k are S90, SX210, 220 & 230, probably more.
Could they profit from Your magic touch too?
