The only other DryOS R43 cams with ND filter are untested: A3000, ixus105_sd1300.
Only one half of that is true  ;)
This is a re-post (I hope, if it's not I missed including it)
Koshy had a little ELPH which wasn't white as snow but everywhere that Koshy went the ELPH was sure to go. (actually an SD, but that detail ruins the rhyme...)

You're right I missed it. This one has the same problem as the other r43 cams.

Hi again!
Here´s some done homework, tables from the cams I transported today,
++ Easy renamer, writes a Batchfile for double_mouse_click_event per default.
++ Quicklooker for mouse_drag&draw : ListiX.bat

if %~x1?==? (cmd /T:4E/Kdir/b/ad/s/on %1) else (cmd /T:1F/K type %0 %*|find /N "need")

enjoy, Caefix

Great, 6 newer ones I don't have, or don't have anymore. Thank you.

Hi again!
Here´s some done homework, tables from the cams I transported today,
Thanks!

There are some issues related to settings in some of these logs. It would be helpful if you can do N and SX610HS with the following:

* Set the camera shooting mode to P
* Set ISO to manual, like 80 or 100
* Enable continuous shooting in the Canon firmware
* Make sure the camera is aimed at something without much contrast, like a wall, a blank page on a computer screen, or the sky.

This isn't urgent, if it's inconvenient there's no need.
Don't forget what the H stands for.

Thanks Caefix

@koshy: A530 failed because the usb remote hook wasn't enabled. This isn't one of the super old cameras that doesn't support, the code looks just like A540, so I posted a test build in https://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=5305.msg141080#msg141080

If you can check the remote functionality as well as re-running the ndtest script, that would be helpful.

ixus230_elph310 similarly failed because the remote hook isn't present. I'll try to put a build for that later.

Since the list post is still broken here's list of remaining untested or failed cameras with ND.

The coverage of ND-only cameras like plenty to me. It would be nice to have some additional results from the G / Gn X / S cams with the current script. Maybe @c_joerg, @philmoz, @waterwingz ?

It would also be helpful to find / confirm PROPCASE_ND_FILTER_STATE for propset 1 (G7) and propset 3 (G11) (done)

For propset 3, I think the ID is probably 194. This can be verified with the propset viewer and changing the ND state through the Canon UI.

For propset 1, using one of the propset dump / compare scripts https://chdk.fandom.com/wiki/PropertyCase or chdkptp would be best.

My office is a mess at the moment but I found my box of cameras buried deep.  I can run the test on my G10, G16, and SD4000.   Once I figure out what to do - should I be using a recent unstable build?

(Edit 1: To save me some time scrolling - what are the most current instructions please?)
(Edit 2: Thanks @koshy )

Use a trunk build yes, the ND test script can be updated in scripts/test folder to the attached, then set a fixed low iso, set FW to continuous shooting, turn flash off, turn review in Canon Menu off. Point camera at a blank wall, maybe just rest it on something execute script and it will just happily shoot away.
Koshy had a little ELPH which wasn't white as snow but everywhere that Koshy went the ELPH was sure to go. (actually an SD, but that detail ruins the rhyme...)

This script gave this result on G7, is it what you wanted?
