A big yes from myself, a relatively new person on the CHDK board!
I've just started CHDK, though I've followed it in religeously and finally they got it working on my Powershot 590IS/A95
I'm thinking of going to DSLR, my main reasons are for better low-light photography. When I DO get one, I want to be sure to get one that they made many lenses for. As in I've always been a bargain hunter, I'll start keeping my eyes out for used lenses for it ;-) Nice thing about DSLRs, people who are avid hobbyists, get a DSLR, then it's "too complicated", and get rid of them, leaving plenty of homeless cameras & lenses ;-) The other reason is I have always gone with p&s cams that were fully manual. If they can put say the 40,000/sec shutter speeds with DSLR control, wooHOO ;-) I'd probably always keep my A95, for digiscoping. to get an equivalent magnification would involve lensesWAY out of my price range, darnit ;-) Heck, if I were shooting a lens that long, I'd still have to be using a tripod. So, yes please, I'd be very interested in a DSLR CHDK board. 8-)
