making optical viewfinder reflect what LCD screen sees

Hi,
This request will probably illustrate my ignorance of CHDK; but here goes.
I have an A590, that takes very nice pictures, but the optical viewfinder seems independent of what the camera really records, and does not show zooming beyond 4X, which is the limit of the optical zoom, nor does it reflect the effect of lenses and filters that I put over the fixed lens. Is there any way of having the optical view finder mirror what the LCD shows?
Thanks,
..... john

No. The tunnel viewfinder on cameras like A590 is a complete separate optical device, with it's own lens and zoom mechanism.
Don't forget what the H stands for.
