Hi,
      I suspect that I've asked this before, but can't find the answer. I used to have a setup where I didn't have to lock my card to make CHDK load, but I've forgotten how to do it. Any help is appreciated.

Start the camera in playback mode, press the Menu key, scroll down to Firmware Update, press Func/Sel

Hi Waterwingz,
        I was wrong about being able to shoot pictures with the SD card unlocked. I realized later that the reader I was using sees cards as unlocked, whether they're locked or not.
So, I pressed the old reader into service ... problem solved.
