kap_uav.lua script <alt> shortcuts menu

Hi,
     When I activate this script (using the alt button), the "<alt>shortcuts" menu pops up. It doesn't stop me from shooting but it does block the LCD view. I've noticed this with other scripts too. Does anyone know why this is?
      Also. There's an approx. 3 second lag between when I press the shutter button, and when the picture is taken. Is this normal?

The <ALT> shortcut popup menu was a feature added to CHDK a few years ago to annoy new users.  It also gives a few hints on how to enable/disable some CHDK functionality using obscure key press functionality.  The good news is that you can turn it off in the CHDK Settings-> Menu Settings menu.  The option that says Show <ALT > Help Screen.

If you press the shutter button while you are in <ALT> mode, the current script is started. No pictures are taken unless the script you started tries to take some. How long that takes depend on the logic programmed into the script.

Hi,
