I just installed CHDK today and am learning. I have it all set up and storing DNG file in the RAW directory, but when I connect my cannon SX530 to my computer windows explorer won't show the RAW directory or even DNG files. Any work arounds so I don't need to pull the card to get my DNG images off the cam?
It's possible that you will be able to get DNG over wifi if you set the directory to withJPG, and choose a prefix/extension the camera recognizes. You won't be able to transfer from the RAW directory.
Note you will have to turn off DNG extension, because it isn't recognized by the Canon firmware. This won't affect the format of the file (it will still be DNG as long as DNG format selected) but it may affect some programs ability to recognize it as DNG.
I'd suggest trying CRW_nnnn.CR2, but if that doesn't work it's possible that some other combination will.
Also, you for this to work you most likely need to restart the camera between shooting and attempting to transfer files.
