You guys are amazing!

Not only have you built an incredible, free tool for photographers to create brilliant images with with, you are still focused on it's usability for those less technically adept as yourselves.

I'm sitting on the verandah, in the early morning, with the intention of figuring out how to achieve 'M' mode via CHDK and I find you are all over it.

The main CHDK menu is indeed a bit overwhelming.. last night I shot a sunset time-lapse for an hour and came away without a single image.. I think I accidentally set a dodgy setting with my fat fingers on the little dial.  It's easy to do hey!

The new menu looks sweet and less prone to fat finger error.  I look forward to testing it out.

One thing that would be very useful would be an optional faster increment for those big number changes.  I wanted to change from 1000 down to 0 yesterday but had to give up.  Maybe it could speedcup after a few seconds of the button being held down.. like some digital clock adjustments do?

For an early preview, I expect it will work much like this script : CHDKplus, which is a much better way to play with M mode right now.

It's even easier than that.  Use the zoom level to move the CHDK cursor across the digits when you are trying to change or enter a big number.  That way you can increment the tens, hundreds, thousand, ten thousand digit instead of just changing the whole number one digit at a time.
