Once battery goes to 30 % or so, the battery indicator starts blinking, causing heavy OSD flickering which probably causes another hell of battery drain. You then see the percentage going down literally every second.
CHDK OSD usually flickers on SX60HS, but this blinking battery indicator makes it three times worse.
Is there a way to disable battery icon blinking – or disable it at all?
Btw: Battery indicator is not even shown, when there's no SD card present in the camera (wtf, Canon!).
