how do you review your images in camera when chdk takes alt button

Is it still possible to review images with chdk in camera, and what about close up mode, is there a way to do close up images?

Press the <ALT> button quickly to enter CHDK <ALT> mode. Press and hold the button for more than about one second to go into Canon review mode.

I have no idea what your concern is here.  It might help to know what camera you have and more about what you are trying to accomplish.

Thank you, I just loaded CHDK today onto Elph 100 hs. I wondered if macro (the flower button) would still work as macro, as it doesnt seem to set the camera into macro. Do you also hold it down longer to get it to go into macro mode?

As far as I know, CHDK just ignores the macro button.  It should work normally when you are in Canon shooting mode. If you are in <ALT> mode doing CHDK stuff, the button will be ignored.

Thank you, I'll probably gain a better understanding of how this all comes together as time goes on and I read the manual and use the programs  ::)
