Hi,
I have an old SD300 (IXUS40), that take nice shots, but no iso value shows up in the EXIF when it's in auto mode. Is there a script or ?? that will tell me what the iso is in auto?
Thanks,
.... john

There is no CHDK script to do this. If you are shooting from script, you could probably log the relevant propcase values.

If you are looking for a display when shooting, the CHDK misc values might show it.

What are you using to examine the Exif? Canon jpegs include standard exif and canon "maker note". It's possible the maker note includes the used ISO value. Exiftool or exiv2 should show you the full exif data.
Don't forget what the H stands for.

Hi reyalp,
I was hoping someone here would be able to tell me if CHDK will tell me the iso, before I install it. I usually get the exif info from my viewer, Faststone. Failing that I open it in PIE. Neither of these apps say what the iso is, in auto mode. They both list it as 'auto'.
