Yes, that would be nice.
Take a single image with your camera and upload image somewhere (google drive, dropbox or something). Send the download link here and I'll see which version of the firmware you have.
If you have a firmware 100a, I will send you a link for downloading.
If you have a different version of the firmware,you need to make a dump of your firmware.Instructions on how to do it are on the links below.

I also have a SX610 HS and would be willing to help with debugging/testing.  I believe I have firmware 100a, and I had CHDK compiling at one point too, if that helps.

I sent you a download link.
Do not use it before you are sure the camera has firmware 100a.
As far as I know, vers.req does not help to identify the firmware version.

As far as I know, vers.req does not help to identify the firmware version.

Zebra appears to be working!  When I enable it, I see stripes on overexposed things when the shutter is pushed half way down.

One issue - in <ALT> mode, the Shortcuts menu pops up every second or so.

If there is anything else you need, just let me know.  We seem to be in different time zones, so feel free to send a list of things to try if you think that would be helpful.

Just disable it: CHDK Settings >> Menu Settings >> Show <ALT> Help Screen

Yes, I am in CEST time zone(UTC+2).
No need for any special testing, just use the camera and report if you encounter any problems.

The source code in the first post was replaced by a new one.
Attached is a test build for firmware version 100a.

FWIW, this port current has neither iris nor ND defined. - oops it was already defined as ND

I believe it is ND only. It has task_Nd + NdActuator.c and not task_IrisEvent + IrisActuator.c

Yes, the camera has only ND filter, checked.

Perfect that fixed the ND problem, I also managed to get my SD card to boot, it was because the card was formatted in exFat, and there was no option to format to fat32 in the normal windows formatting tool, so I had to use the EaseUS Partition Master, in order to format it as fat32 and now it works fine.
