CHDK for SX530HS? No build available?

CHDK for SX530HS? No build available?

I am trying to install CHDK for SX530HS. On the main CHDK page this camera is listed with build 100a and 100c in green which means these are available with the stable build. OS is windows 8.1. I opened the Stick utility and browsed a photo taken buy this camera (drag and drop does not work). The  step 1 box says "no official build available for this camera". I repeated this with all the 4 options available, 1.3 & 1.4. Same thing.

How do I proceed? Thanks.

Use a card reader to transfer a photo to the PC, and use that with STICK.

edit:
wait a second, 1.3 and 1.4? Upgrade STICK from the author's site, please.

Thank you. I had put the SD card in the PC and browsed the photo from there. Now I copied the photo from SD card to PC desktop and browsed it from there. Same results.

If you see any reference to CHDK 1.3 on the STICK GUI, you most probably have an outdated copy. Please check that you have the latest version.

Earlier I had the 1.10. I just downloaded the version 1.11 from zenoshrdlu.com. This version also shows the 1.3, 1.3DE, 1.4, 1.4DE as the 4 options. It did load the photo and completed step1, ready to download. You are saying this is the wrong version?

No, just checked myself. It does indeed say 1.3 and 1.4 which is no longer correct (the current stable is 1.4.1 and development version is 1.5).
The sx530 is only supported in CHDK 1.5 .
Does STICK recognize the camera model and firmware version?

STICK will load the actual CHDK version (1.4.1 & 1.5). The STICK gui (v.1.11) is a little bit outdated because the version info is hard coded.

yes, it recognized the camera as SX530HS, firmware 100c. In the box step2 it says CHDK build "canon powershot sx530hs- 100c Trunk CHDK. For some reason I am not able to close the Stick window of the version 1.10, no matter what I do. I suppose I will have to shut the computer off in order to get rid of it. So I have two Stick windows open, the version 1.10 and version 1.11. The info I gave you above is from 1.11.

Should I just go ahead and hit the download button and see if it downloads the correct version. Should I choose 1.4 CHDK. Both are labelled as "Development"?

Thank you SRSA & MSL. I am still stumped. I have done this before but some how today it is not working. So I went ahead and clicked on Download. It downloaded but then goes to the "scanning for cards". It found the card Drive E???? and then in the window it says: Drive E: size, partitioning, bootability unknown. The "continue to install" is grayed out.

I have a 32GB SD card in the PC, formatted in the camera (I have also tried it after formatting in PC). I have tried the "write protect" tab in both positions.

I appreciate the help.
