Yep, there's no known way of getting more burst speed out of these cameras unless you use the video/movie mode. The latest version of my MD script works in video mode as well (as long as you use the latest version deeper in the thread
), so if you don't mind the bad resolution and the exposure turns out good, it maybe worth a try. My a570is can go 640x480 in 30 fps and half resolution in 60 fps, that's a whole lot more than the slightly more than 1 fps in burst mode...
