 :xmas All nice here. If scene is set to fisheye AND recording HD-Video we have the old behavior to compare.

Can you explain what you mean or post a screenshot?

 :) This setting makes no sense, but if fisheye (only) is set in ptpGui, HD is stretched as bevore.
With other strings in that field is all good.

OK, I think I understand: If the mode is set to fisheye and you record a video, the camera stops actually doing the fisheye effect and the viewport height is normal for whatever the video format is.

I've adjusted the logic for that and checked in, trunk 5831 (also ixus265 and 275)

@LeTomas or @Caefix
Here's a patch adding filewrite/jpeg remote shoot support for sx620.

Test build for 100b attached, I can provide one for 100c on request.

To test, use
Code: [Select]
chdkptp -e"exec require'camtests'.runbatch{shoot=true}"

 :blink: runbatch{shoot=true} => 16/0.
Code: [Select]
exec require'camtests'.runbatch{bench=true,shoot=true,filexfer=true,xfersizebugs=true}=> 22/4 or 19/2. Edit: ... and 26/0 (forgot to copy CHDK folder  :))
Edit2: Old #6016 returns 26/0 with "cam does not support remote capture, skipping"

:blink: runbatch{shoot=true} => 16/0.
Thanks for testing, that means the shoot tests all passed, so remoteshoot should be ok. Added in trunk 6017

Each blah=true runs a different set of tests, so it's expect shoot alone is less.

So just to confirm, when you had the build copied fully, you got 26/0?

Hi,

I've just purchased a SX620 HS with 100c firmware and trying to get CHDK to work. Getting some very interesting behaviour when taking a photo, it also takes a 3 second video and then shows the photo being taken. Really odd.

Version installed:
CHDK for sx620hs fw:100c PID:12995
build:1.5.1-6023_ALPHA date:Mon, 15 Nov 2021 00:58:14 +0100

I've done a clean setup/install and can recreate the issue on the very first photo as below:

Reset camera to default.
Format memory card.
Use stick to install CHDK, 32G SD card
Set card to read only
Insert card and push power button
Camera starts into play mode
Half press shutter button to open lens
Full press shutter button to take picture
Picture taken, shutter sound plays immediately
Screen comes up and says busy for a few seconds
Goes on as normal but when I view the picture there is a jpeg and mp4.
Each picture taken adds to the video, even if I restart the camera in the middle.

I've uploaded the video of 2 photos taken in the above scenario to youtube -
Any suggestions? Is there any debug logs I can look at to try and figure this out?

Thanks
