Thank you for suggestion, I'll try it. Intervalometer with long exposure time is good, but only in the night.
None of the scripts is not a "fire and forget", you always have to adjust the parameters of exposure. For daily photography, you can use a minimum ISO and a smaller aperture (larger number). Set the exposure time to make the image without lightning slightly under-exposed.
The Intervalometer is probably a better choice than some MD Scripts.
For a good image of lightning you have to make hundreds of bad images, experience will be your best friend there.
