Please run the ubtest.bas script (it is located on card in /CHDK/SCRIPTS/TEST). It doesn't test Av override though, only Tv and Sv. You can find a short description of that script in https://chdk.fandom.com/wiki/Testing#ubtest.bas . If the overrides are working, you'll end up with over and underexposed pictures. You can also upload the log file created by the script.

When you test Av override using the enhanced photo operations menu, please do it like: 1) switch the cam to Av mode and set the largest aperture on the Canon user interface 2) Set Av override to 8 in the CHDK menu 3) exit the CHDK menu and shoot a picture. If the resulting photo is underexposed, the override is likely functional.

Test worked well and i got UE OE NE images.
and AV also worked fi9. i ll upload log file too.

Can you try this:

1. Switch the camera to P (Program) mode
2. Set the camera to continuous drive mod
3. In "Enhanced photo operations" set AV override to 8.50 or something similar
4. In  "Bracketing in continuous mode" set AV  bracketing to 1EV and set Bracketing type to +

Exit the ALT mode, press the shutter button and hold it down until the camera shoots 4 images.
It is important that the camera is on a wide angle, so do not use the zoom.
See if there are differences in the brightness between the images.

No, the sensor is incapable of doing Full HD video.

We need one of the users to test one change that is necessary for the proper functioning of the CHDK for this camera.
The behavior of the POWER (on / off) and PLAY buttons should be checked.
The power up behavior depends on the button used:
- Playback (PLAY) button pressed, camera should start in playback mode.
- POWER (on / off) button pressed for less than a second, camera should start in playback mode.
- POWER (on / off) button pressed for more than a second, camera should start in record mode, with extended lens.
A test version of CHDK is attached.

i had given away my older SX430 camera which i used for testing ... and so could not further test any builds ... however a week back i was very happy to be able to aquire another new SX430 camera

Play button pressed --- starts the camera in playback mode --- OK
Power button < 1 sec press --- starts in playback mode --- OK
Power button > 1-2 seconds --- Starts in Record Mode, Lens Extends --- OK

i would be glad to see it added to the autobuild list or if any other things need testing ... will be glad to test those
