i extracted the contents of the zip in the above post to the trunk folder and added
sx430is,100b,,,
to the camera list csv
and selected the camera for compilation
everything seemd to happen ok  :)

no zip was created. where do i look for what happened error list etc
sorry if i am being too naive
That's normal, the source code was made on the old trunk4820, you sure see the errors associated with the nd filter.
For a few minutes, I'll add the source code that's adapted to the current state.

I'm worried about loader / main.c, sub_FF038D8C is different than in previous DryOS versions.
Do you have all the necessary folders and their contents on the SD card?

i made a bootable card with card tricks (4 gb card)

dumped and tried with both

sx430is-100b-1.5.0-5114-full
sx430is-100b-1.5.0-5114

both contained the CHDK folder and of course Diskboot.bin

by the way how do i check the version ... i tried the
card with ver.req and vers.req
start in playback
keep set/func pressed
and tried pressing all the keys

keeping func pressed gives the clock though

You can see the version of the firmware from the exif.
Put one picture somewhere and send the download link here.

You can do a Bootable Card with another camera, the sx530 is good for it.
Miscellaneous stuff >> SD card >> Make bootable card
The SD card must be formatted as FAT32 before that.
