Here's a link to an old post of mine : Re: testing sync among more cameras - real data

The posting has a valid image link inserted in the text :
Code: [Select]
[img width=700 height=370]http://i.imgur.com/wCdcSfU.png[/img]
but the embedded image  http://i.imgur.com/wCdcSfU.png no longer displays

Testing here shows :

Nothing ?

Edit : I can see the images using tapatalk on my mobile phone

Thanks for raising the issue.

In the meantime I have downloaded png from imgur.

@acseven  :  bump?  The image tags  [ img ] url [ / img ] still don't seem to work?

Looks like it’s not me then   :)

Thanks for the heads up. It should be sorted now, as well as the txt files upload issue.
Cheers

Sorry, still no good: unless it's me!

From what I can see in that case, between the img tags is not the image url, but imgur general image view. I.e.:

[img ]https://imgur.com/a/XTGzrd1[ /img]

This will work though:

The site is currently auto embedding only video links (Youtube at least) and I'm not planning on making any changes to its current features in the near future.

Cheers

I think the difference is linking directly to an imgur url like https://imgur.com/Ficwub6 (which serves up html etc) vs an one like https://imgur.com/Ficwub6.png which serves up just the image.

imgur also offers an embed code, but I suspect that wont work
<blockquote class="imgur-embed-pub" lang="en" data-id="Ficwub6"><a href="//imgur.com/Ficwub6"></a></blockquote><script async src="//s.imgur.com/min/embed.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Don't forget what the H stands for.
