Hi again,

I want to ask something. I'm regretting that my tablet can record Full HD with 3 megapixel camera, but why my cameras can't do that? My Nikon camera can capture 16.1 MP photo but can only record HD, and my Canon Powershot SX110 IS camera can capture 9 MP photo but can only record 640x480.

Are there are any way that I can record HD with my Canon camera? I not counting that Nikon, because CHDK is supporting Canon.

If I can record (via an extension or script), will my camera get damage?

AFAIK, there is no way to improve the video quality (resolution or frame rate) on a PowerShot Canon camera - with CHDK or otherwise.   You can decrease it somewhat but that's not what you are asking for.

The compact camera business is very competitive. If it was possible with the existing processor, I suspect Canon would have done so already.
