Hi,
I'm using Nikon Coolpix L29 (I have multiple camera, including that Canon one) and each time I'm opening the camera, it shows "overheat" error. I tried all physical ways that I thought (charging, changing, replacing batteries, use it at places with relevant temperature), including extreme experiments like putting the camera in the freezer for 10 minutes and open it. Still no changes. How do the camera overheat when it's under zero degree Celsius?
I'm searching a way for disable the temperature sensor, because I think maybe the sensor is not detecting correctly. The warranty expired 2 years ago, and I tried to contact Nikon, they said to come to their service center in the capital city that 600 km far away from my native province (that's right).
One thing that I found is, I can record to the maximum allowed time (with overheat warning, but countdown seconds are stuck, not running), but when I try to take photo, it shut downs the camera automatically with "overheat" error.
Is there any way that I can use for overriding that error? Scripts, patches etc?
Thanks for responses.
