I can confirm this to be working on IXUS 700 (SD500).

Pethead? Would you be so kind as to release your source code for this? This would be great to see in that new Collaborative Build. One of the developers reports that they can't get to your source code that you posted. Could you please make that available? This would be a wonderful contribution to that new CHDK build.
