heya pethead,

can you perhaps supply a diff against current trunk for your code? i finally wanna check out this feature and also check in into chdk. i see you changed the symbolfile as well, did you patch the 16 version as well or just the 10 one?

sorry. my english is bad. can't understand what do you mean.

I released new build with Chdk as 0.5.5 and made some change s in code.
+add new date formats
+add plus one step to outline thick font symbol
+patch some bugs

all you need are here
Index of /CHDK/0.5.5/

file CHDK-FOLDRES.ZIP contents chdk all folders with needed files ,including new symbol font.

this code is not published yet.

As a relative newcomer to the forum I would like to say a big thank you to all those involved in developing CHDK. I am most impressed with all the new features now available to my A570IS.

I am now using CHDK version 0.5.5 with the timestamp feature added by Pethead and it works fine for date and time as well as adding custom labels, many thanks. When writing the label text file, I found that an extra return at the end of the last line prevented the file form being read; makes sense as the file is only supposed to have five entries.
