There is no CHDK for M100 or any other Digic 7 based camera yet.

It's possible the Canon Basic approach discussed in https://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=13489.msg138708#msg138708 could work for M100. Note the script there would need to be adjusted for M100.

Ya I read that. I'm wondering if anyones working on it, is it dead in the water? I love my 100 but I'm starting to need more features like the ones chdk and magic provide.
is there a lack of interest in digic 7 cams?
I might give the basic scripts a try, a loooooooot of reading here to do first tho lol

It's not lack of interest. Digic 7 uses a different ARM variant than previous cameras. Supporting it (if possible) requires significant reverse engineering work by someone who has a digic 7 cameras. Philmoz has done a bit of work on G7X II (https://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=13773.0) but so far there are difficulties getting to boot correctly.

It's likely someone here can come up with the right addresses. I'll try to take a look this weekend if @srsa_4c doesn't chime in before that.

We already have a dump of m100 100a in the archive, and some previous discussion about it https://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=13699.0

alrighty i just messed something up lol i didnt put the correct line in script.req, or DC_scriptdisk, I changed it and retryed my dump and it worked, then i tried your script and it provides a 100% clean hdmi signal! no facebox nothing! great job dude ill repost this on the main thread of your post so people know it works!

So to answer the question of this thread, state of support is non-existent :(. No MagicLantern, no CHDK, I can't even find the 100a firmware to rollback to because my M100 seems to just ignore every attempt to run a basic script for clean HDMI and no auto screen off.
